Bonded LCD

Bonded LCD improves the optical performance of the LCD screen and enhances the durability of monitors and touch screens. At INSYNC Peripherals, we offer the best in technology and performance, with our patent pending bonding process. For example, our bonded 500 nit display with anti-reflective glass outperforms most of the 1,500 nit standard LCD in direct sunlight.

The process of creating bonded LCD screens involves bonding a glass cover to an LCD screen. The layers are laminated to bond the surfaces. The air gap that would typically exist between the layers is closed during the bonding process. This enhances the image and creates a clear picture, even in direct sunlight. Bonded touch screens are easier to read than other technologies when used in outdoor locations.

Bonded touch screens are durable, in addition to readability in the sunlight. The durability of the bonded LCD screen is enhanced in the process of bonding the layers. Durability is essential for outdoor locations, weather and harsh environments. For this reason, bonded LCD is often chosen for monitors and bonded touch screens are used in a range of environments, such as for oil field monitors and military applications in extreme climates and temperature changes.

We offer bonded LCD displays in a range of sizes, from small handheld touch screens to large displays. In addition to our line of standard bonded LCD monitors and bonded touch screens, we can create custom designs to your specifications. We have created many custom designs for industrial, military and avionics.
